The aim of the Art Department is to develop our students’ skills and expressive abilities through individualized programmes that build creative processes, and knowledge about the arts and art history, techniques and languages.

We have all the facilities to promote two-and three-dimensional work (painting, drawing, sculpture, among others.)

The department encourages the importance of culture, identity, and tolerance for diversity by introducing different representations and pieces of Pre-Colombian, national and international artwork.

EXTRACURRICULAR  ART ACTIVITIES:

As well as the art classes that our students attend within the school timetable we offer extracurricular classes in areas such as photography, drawing, and illustration, among others.

FESTIVALS AND ACTIVITIES:

We promote student participation in exhibitions such as:

• UNCOLI Art Festival, at pre-school, primary and secondary levels.
• Experimental Art classroom.
• ‘Art Talents’ seek the wide-scale participation of students through many forms of artistic expression (painting, drawing, sculpture and photography).
