On November 2, the reading course CLV (Curso de Lectura Veloz) was completed in a very satisfactory way: our students of Grade 5 increased their reading speed, maintaining their habitual understanding (80% of them were able to increase by more than 3 times its speed, with very good reading comprehension results).
Congratulations! We hope that the new technique will help to strengthen, to a great extent, the process of academic formation and to cultivate the good habit of reading.
We highlight, in a special way, the results obtained by the following students:
– Paula Andrea Gómez Márquez – 5 ° B: started reading 313 words per minute with 100% comprehension, and ended with 6,394 words per minute and 100% reading comprehension.
– Simón Orduz Noreña – 5 ° B: started reading 163 words per minute with 45% comprehension, and ended with 4,973 words per minute and 88% reading comprehension.
– Ana Fadul Ramos – 5 ° B: started reading 265 words per minute with 94% comprehension, and ended with 3,443 words per minute and 100% reading comprehension.
