We are proud to announce that Isabella Pardo Giraldo came first in the ‘X Encuentro de Fronteras Panamá’ that took place between 27th and 30th August.
Isabella, a 4th grade student faced 25 riders from several other countries in Latin America among them Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.
After competing in three qualifying tests in Show Jumping with zero errors, Isabella obtained first place in the Junior Category. It was a very emotional moment for the Colombians present when the Colombian National Anthem was played.
At present in Colombia, there are five equestrian disciplines among which is Show Jumping, an Olympic sport. The rider is expected to carry out 10 to 13 jumps without errors in the best time possible.
Emilio Pardo Giraldo, Isabella’s younger brother who also took part in this Championship, scored highly as the only beginner rider representing Colombia.
We congratulate our students and are delighted to watch them make their dreams come true.
