Again, this year, we back the Roosevelt Institute in its campaign to raise awareness of those in need and to sensitize everyone towards those less favoured. The traditional ‘Marcha de la Moneda 2018’ seeks to reinforce our support to children with disabilities in their process of rehabilitation and recovery.
The symbol of the campaign is a red lace, signifying the lacing of the bonds of love, support and commitment in the hospital when alternative methods for rehabilitation and recovery are found. These will serve as a source of continuity and union that will last a lifetime.
We invite everyone to support this noble cause by using the laces ($5000 each) between the 3rd and 28th September; the money will be donated to the Institute.
The funds collected will go to the purchase of biomedical ventilation equipment (known as Bipaps), artificial breathing units that are vital to patients in a chronic condition in the hospital section of the Roosevelt Institute.
The laces can be bought from the 11th Grade students.
Thank you for your support.
We are the SGS Community.
