You are cordially invited to take part in One Hour for the Planet, on Saturday 10th April at 8.30 p.m. All you have to do is turn out the lights for one hour and share with others, so they can do the same.
Reducing our energy consumption helps preserve water resources and reduces gas emissions that are causing climate change. Other measures you can take are:
-Unplug all chargers, electrical and electronic devices not in use; these consume energy that is wasted.
– Delete unwanted mail and documents in clouds. All this information is stored in data servers on the Internet that consume enormous amounts of energy and water (they overheat). Deleting 30 messages can save up to 222w, the same as leaving a light bulb on all day.
We can all do our bit to look after our little planet.
