Going to big school, is without doubt one of the biggest steps in the life of a child and the family.  To assist you, we are offering a series of Talks and Workshops to make it easier.

El Centro de Aprendizaje y Desarrollo Integral CADI ( The Comprehensive Learning and Development Centre) is running three Workshops for children entering school in 2021 -2022.  The aim of these Workshops is to help the child adapt to school life and to offer parents  social-emotional, physical and language support that strengthen the child’s abilities and provide a solid foundation for future academic success.

Workshops:

1. Adapting to big school, ‘A process for the whole family.’ A talk that offers parents the necessary elements in preparation. ( 21^st November 2020)
2. ‘Optimise your child’s abilities,’ is a practical workshop where parents will be given ways to stimulate the child’s physical and language development. (20^th February 2021)
3. ‘Get to know your school,’ for parents and children to have a fun morning visiting the School and meeting future classmates. (8^th August 2021)

 

You are also invited to our first Talk on the following subjects:

–  How to face this first stage with confidence

– Addressing the emotional needs at this stage in the lives of parents and children

–  What can be done inside the family to favour the process of adaptation
