On 18^th October, students and teachers of SGS ‘s PRAE (Environmental School Projects) took part in the ll encounter of Futurible, ‘Six introductions to a dialogue and a documentary,’ in the Gimnasio Moderno. For this event, the students from various schools and universities from all over the country, submitted projects on more practical and sustainable homes through Big Data; conflict between human activity and big cats (jaguars and pumas); and the relationship of the displaced indigenous communities with the environment, among other topics.

Saint George’s School was represented by Valeria Garcia, Mario Garcia and Victoria Guevara who submitted our Environmental School Project (PRAE) on everything related to the management of waste, the protection of the biodiversity through natural reserves; sustainable endeavours, climate change and the responsible use of resources.

To date, students have put forward 30 projects, all related to the care of the environment. They will be advised on how to follow through and improve the projects by a panel from Futurible made up of Julio Carrizosa, Ernesto Guhl, Diego Betancour, Maria Carolina Romero, Manuel Guzman-Hennessey and Jorge Devia among others.
