One of the main principles of the school is to promote the value of Solidarity throughout our community.

We work to improve the quality of life of all our internal and external learning community, through the design, programming and implementation of solidarity activities and of social services, to consolidate the integration in the school.

SOLIDARITY PROGRAMMES:

These programmes are implemented at different levels and are linked to other social foundations that develop projects to foster solidarity in the Community. Our Department of Religion works to sensitize our students to the needs of others and to develop values of solidarity towards those in need.

Each level supports a foundation which allows students to participate in different types of activities according to the population that they are working with (e.g. children or the elderly). This gives them the opportunity to meet, learn, share, play and give affection to people who, in most cases, are from families who have been displaced by violence and lead precarious lives. These activities make students more aware of the needs of others.

• Gimnasio Preescolar Construyendo Mi Mundo  (Kindergarden)
• Hogar Infantil Sol Solecito (Kindergarden)
• Jardín Infantil Mi Pequeño Mundo (Kindergarden)
• Jardín Maternal Mi Pequeño Mundo (Kindergarden)
• Parroquia de las Bienaventuranzas (Parish)

GENERAL PROGRAMMES:

We design and implement a series of activities which involve the entire school community (students, parents, school employees) and which contribute to meet the basic needs of different foundations that the school works with. These activities mainly provide support for LA CIGARRA Foundation and include:

• Food donation
• Donation of second hand clothing
• Family Basket

PROGRAMME OF ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYEES:

We also offer different programmes of support for the employees who need it, such as:

• Advice on affordable housing through the Family Compensation Fund and National Savings Fund.
• Legal counselling.
• Expressions of sympathy at times of bereavement.
• Advice and support when facing serious and difficult domestic circumstances.
• Advising employees with family problems.

PROGRAMME OF ASSISTANCE TO PARENTS AND FAMILIES:

We assist the parents of our students in cases of personal misfortune.
